Kindred: A Collection of Photographers by Kristen Taylor, is not only a new company that I will be launching in 2013, it is a new TYPE of company!
This new company, a sister company to Kristen Taylor Photography, will offer numerous photographers at a variety of price points... all of whom have been closely trained on-the-job by me in my Modern Romance style! What makes Kindred different from other multi-photographer companies is that it will operate in a boutique-like fashion, in which potential clients will choose the photographer THEY want, meet with and get to know THAT person, see samples of work photographed by THAT photographer... all of which establishes the type of trusting relationship that I feel is essential to have with one's wedding photographer. It will NOT be like the other multi-photographer companies that show you samples by their best photographer and then dispatch to you a different photographer, usually one whom you have never met.
All of Kindred's carefully-selected and closely-trained photographers will provide an excellent alternative for clients for whom I would otherwise not be accessible, either because I am already booked on their wedding date or because my pricing is out of their budget. Each Kindred photographer has been VERY carefully selected (I am SO picky!), and each has an artistic aesthetic that is in line with my style, very high-quality camera gear, and of course a super cool personality. Additionally, all of the behind the scenes work (pre-planning, post-production, editing, product design, etc.) for Kindred will be done in the same way as it is for Kristen Taylor Photography. All of this ensures a strong consistency in style, high-quality products, and excellent service.
Below is a sneak peek of the branding and website for this new company! For more than a year, Courtney (who will be one of the Kindred photographers) has been booking and shooting weddings like a rockstar through Kristen Taylor Photography. However in 2013 we will officially launch the separate brand and website, and we will begin to offer additional photographers. We are SUPER excited, and we hope you like it! |
