|Christina and John are super detail-oriented and driven to make things exactly how they want them to be… the very definition of a “Pinterest couple” (and I definitely mean this all as a compliment!) There were personalized hangers, a custom-made outdoor sitting area made just for photos, balloons that said “love”, specific straws, etc. Literally, not one detail wasn’t thoroughly thought through by this stylish couple. They chose for their ceremony at one of my favorite churches in Detroit, The Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament (I’m a sucker for checkerboard floors!). It was a beautiful ceremony, and then we headed out to Meadow Brook . They had a huge bridal party, which was super fun and they were actually far more compliant with photos than I was expecting from this big party crew. Christina and John live in New York, and I felt like they brought a sleek, sophisticated NY vibe into their reception style. I LOVE bold and contrasty black and white, so I was super excited to see how amazingly well the black tables and chairs contrasted against the billowy white draping of Meadow Brook’s tent. Their bold and angular black and white cake by Holiday Market was awesome, the all-white flowers by Viviano's were perfection, their invitations by Katie Dixon Design perfectly represented their style, and their band, Eclipse totally rocked the house. Congrats to this gorgeous, super fun, and high-energy couple! It was an amazing day and you’re clearly very loved by lots of people!
