the inn at st. john's wedding: christine & Brenden

9.5.17 - weddings by Kristin G.

There are so many incredible details about this day at The Inn at St. John's that I do not know where to begin. First, Christine is gorgeous and not only did she look absolutely incredible in her sleek, form-fitting gown with a breathtaking cathedral veil, she took it a step further and added a gorgeous, full tulle skirt over her gown for the ceremony. She told me it was because Brenden was not overly enthusiastic about doing a first look and this was her way to change things up a bit. This was such a super fun idea as that meant the first look and portraits were done in her gown, she then donned the fantastic skirt for the ceremony and then took it off for the reception where the rest of the guests would see her gorgeous gown for the first time. SO SMART. These two are such a handsome couple and I know I tend to say this often, but I could have photographed their portraits for hours! Before we knew it, it was time for the ceremony and then we were off to the atrium to truly celebrate the day. I’ve shot at The Inn many times and the atrium looked absolutely incredible thanks to the talents of The Gala House. One of my favorite aspects of the room were the thrones brought in as the seating for the bride+groom, which I found out was a detail chosen by Brenden himself. I loved the intricate gold invitations by Jen's Invites. The cake by Patisserie Parmentier was gorgeous and the room was decorated with flowers by Yasmeena's Floral -no detail was overlooked. A huge congratulations goes out to this sweet couple! xo
