|Ordinarily I write about how perfect every wedding is, because truly most do go exactly as planned (barring perhaps a couple of unnoticeable tiny things). But on this day it rained ALL day, the ceremony started 40 minutes late because a key person was missing, we were super rushed for photography time, and the indoor backup location we had planned wouldn’t allow us to shoot there (although they normally do) so we had to create a Plan C on the spot. BUT, despite all of that, it was still a spectacular day! The bride and groom looked like perfection, The Henry Hotel is always stunning, their reception details and florals by Renee's Flowers were gorgeous, their cake by Dearborn Sweets was to die for, and I was able to get plenty of beautiful photos despite being rushed (it helped that Sofia and Louie are naturally good-looking). It was an amazing wedding joining two Greek families, which means the dancing was incredibly fun to photograph, including the performance by the hired belly dancer. Despite the weather and other challenges, it really as a wonderful day, and the most important thing is that two wonderful people are starting their new life together! Congratulations, Sofia and Louie!
