|I liked Jeanne and Angel from the first moment that I met them, and that wasn’t surprising since they’re friends with a few of my previous couples. There were numerous mentions by friends and family throughout the day about Jeanne always being very particular about what she wants, which I too found to be the case but in the best way possible, as she definitely had strong (and good!) opinions about her day! Clearly she made so many great design choices about her wardrobe, in which she looked stunning, and the decor of the event. And Angel looked really dapper in his ensemble. We began with the ladies getting ready at Jeanne’s parents’ house, while the guys got ready at the Marriott Renaissance Center. We stopped briefly for some photos at the Grosse Pointe Academy Chapel before continuing on to their ceremony at St. John’s Church. We hopped across the street (amid many Comerica Tigers fans) to take photos at The Fox Theatre, and then we wrapped up the formal photos at the DIA. I honestly wasn’t sure that we’d fit in all of these stops for photos, but Jeanne wanted it and she was right - it worked! Their reception at the Colony Club was awesome! Their gorgeous cake was by Hodell's, their intricate invitation was by Elegant Wedding Invites, and Thrifty Florist did the stunning flowers. I loved the blush tones and, well, everything about this day. Congrats to Jeanne and Angel!
