|Megan and Austin could be models. Seriously. They are both so nice and surrounded by wonderful friends and family. Their wedding was beautiful, fun and with ideal weather. I knew right when I showed up for the getting ready photos that I was going to love Megan’s style… I mean, look at those shoes! And it was adorable that she and Austin each gave a teddy bear to the ring bearer and flower girl. After Megan and Austin's ceremony at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church we stopped at the Four Corners (32 Mile & VanDyke) because, as I’m told, “that’s a thing to people in that area”, and I was totally game for that! Then we stopped at Austin’s family’s business for some photos in front of the sign, which Austin’s parents put up for them as a surprise. Then we went off to Addison Oaks for their gorgeous reception. It was kind of a trip for me to shoot at Addison Oaks because I hadn’t shot there in probably 10 years. At that time I was fairly new to wedding photography and I still got really nervous at each and every wedding. It was really interesting to be back there because it reminded me of that nervousness I used to feel, in contrast to the complete confidence I have now. It was a really lovely reception with gorgeous white flowers by Viviano's and a stunning gold and white cake by The Home Bakery. I wish these two a lifetime of happiness!
