|You certainly can’t go wrong with a wedding at Meadowbrook Mansion , as soon as you pull up its beauty surrounds you. I found Kristi and the ladies getting ready and our lovely day began. Kristi’s gorgeous lace gown was hanging in the window and she was surrounded by warmth and happiness. She looked stunning in her dress, and I adored her choice of red lipstick that perfectly coordinated with her bridesmaids. As we photographed the ladies in front of the mansion, it appeared as though a storm was coming and would continue during and after their ceremony (which is when Nick and Kristi were going to see one another and then do Bride and Groom photos.) Together, they spur of the moment decided to do a first look to capture the gorgeous weather. I am so incredibly happy they did! Not only were we able to capture the humungous grin on Nicks face when he first saw Kristi, but it did in fact rain and we were able to get so many great photos beforehand. After a lovely ceremony, we started the reception with speeches and delicious food. The room was adorned with gorgeous flowers and centerpieces by Flora Detroit. The night ended with a great dance floor with beats by Night and Day Productions.
Congrats to you both, it was an honor to photograph your special day.
