Well, Erica did a stellar job with her own wedding too! I loved the bridesmaid dresses and the vintage feel of the entire wedding. Erica looked absolutely perfect in her Maggie Sottero dress and adorable rose bud shoes. Nick and the groomsmen were hilarious... it's not everyday that I see a groom and groomsmen kick a soccer ball around in their suits.... I love it!

Anyway, Atiya and Tim's wedding was incredible!!! Atiya is GORGEOUS and has fabulous taste in shoes. And Tim, in addition to being super talented, is a really cool guy. I was honored to photograph their wedding... it was awesome!

Atiya's Christos dress was from Neiman Marcus, Blossoms did an amazing job with the flowers,Larry Lee and Back in the Day Band rocked, and Fast Forward Videos covered the video.

Nichole looked beautiful in her Demitrios gown, Neil looked totally dapper, their colors were bright and fun, their details were amazing, and all of their friends and family were super fun.

The ceremony took place at St. Aloysious Parish, right up the street from the reception at The Book Cadillac Hotel. The colorful flowers were provided by Blossoms of Birmingham, the cake was from Christine's Cakes ... Pastries, and the invitations were created by Colorbarcreative.com. At the reception, Music Box Productions kept the crowd dancing with a great dj and they also provided the video for the day!

Sarah's Ariel Couture Philadelphia dress with veil and cap sleeves handmade by Catherine Szymanski was stunning, and the bright and beautiful flowers came from Viviano's. The cake was courtesy of Josefs Bakery Grosse Pointe and the invitations were done by Carlson Craft. The ceremony took place at Old St. Mary's in Greektown and the reception was held at The Doubletree in Fort Shelby.

Their gorgeous decor, including the linens, flowers, and invitations, was made possible by Nicole of Emerald City Designs, the cake came from Zingerman's Bake House, and Erin's stunning Judd Waddell dress was from Macy's Bridal Salon.

The Jerry Ross Band played at the reception and the videography was done by Jamie Honce.

My 2nd photographer took these photos of Jeff as he was waiting to see Erin for the first time that day. I just LOVE these photos because it reminds me that grooms too get nervous about the wedding day (we all often seem to focus so much on the bride, somewhat overlooking how the groom feels at times). I've talked with a lot of grooms in these moments of nervousness and they all say just about the same thing... they're not nervous about the fact that they're about to marry their fiance... they're just nervous because they know how much the wedding day means to their fiance and they don't want to do anything to mess that up. It's sweet really... they want so much for the day to be perfect for their bride!!!

And then as soon as they see one another the nerves melt away instantly...

I loved finding this tiny little University of Michigan symbol on their cake... adorable!!!

Thank you, videographer Jamie Honce, for putting your video light in just the right place to cast this shadow on the wall of the branches near the sweetheart table. I LOVE silhouette images and so I was super excited when I found this one!

Jeff wasn't very excited about having the Michigan fight song thrown at him... but he was a really good sport!
